Q: You went to a tea shop with your younger sister who is just4. After few minutes you saw she was not there. What were you feeling at that time? How did you find her? What lesson did you get from that incident?
It was the sunny and
pleasant morning of Sunday. Everything seemed to be charming. School was off so
I decided to go out for tea to get some recreation. I asked my younger sister
to come and she agreed. I took my bike out garage and asked my sister to sit on
back. We traveled half an hour and then we reached Taj Tea Shop. We entered the
hotel and I pointed a chair to my sister and told him to sit there. I went to
buy some cakes from tuck shop and to order tea.
When after few minutes I came back I was astonished to see that my sister was
not on her chair. For once everything seemed standstill to me. It started
goose-pimples on my skin. I started to search her in every nook and corner for
the tea shop. I asked each and every person present there but everyone refused
to see her. I went outside and started asking people about her but everyone's
reply was no. I was unable to decide what I should do now. Headache started in
my head. My heart was beating like jungle. My whole body was trembling. Sweat
was pouring rapidly from my face. I was so depressed and crestfallen.
Despair was battering my bastions of courage and hope.
I was crestfallen and was thinking that it is only my shortcoming that I left
her alone even after knowing that she is just 4. I was very helpless praying
and looking for some miracle. Suddenly a middle aged man having turban on his
head clicked my shoulder from back. He asked me has your sister lost? I eagerly
replied yes! A ray of hope stirred within me when he asked me to follow him. I
was following him and he took me to the mosque. When I entered in the mosque.
My sisterly crying ran towards me shouting brother. She hugged me very hardly
like we're meeting after years. She was crying and saying brother please don't
leave me alone. I missed you very much. I felt fearful without you. She was
talking to me but I was in dreams. I thought I have got a new life. Again
everything started to look charming in front of me. I was feeling like the
happiest person in the world. I thanked and said good bye to who brought me to
my sister who was actually a pupil of Mosque's Imam. From this life changing
incident I got two lessons. First we must be very conscious and careful about
children's care. Second the world is still full of great people and Humanity is
still alive.
When you worked really hard to get something?
It is said that hard work is key to
success. One cannot succeed in anything without hard work and struggle.
Everyone in life works really hard to get what you actually want. I have also
worked hard to be a good football player. I always wanted to be the best player
in my football team. I always wanted to play football on district and province
level.
It was the June
of 2009.We were busy in playing football, suddenly a man named Sami Baloch
(Official member of DFA) shouted,” Hey! Guys come here.” We stopped our play
and went to him. He asked who wants to become a big football player. Everyone
shouted me! Me! He continued if you really want to become a big football player
than I’ll arrange a match for you. Anyone who scores more number of goals or
gives outstanding performance he would get a chance for representing District
Football Association (DFA)’s Team. Like other players I was just stunned after
hearing this. It was the dream I ever aimed for. I knew this is big opportunity
to change my dream into reality.
I made my
determination that I have to make my selection in DFA’s team. I started working
so much hard, I had never did before. I made my routine eat, sleep and football.
I took 7 days leave from my school. I started to get up early in the morning
and went to ground for practicing. Daily I practiced free-kicks, penalty kicks,
and dribbling there. I often practiced my skills in backyard of my home at
night. I didn’t wanted to keep football away from feet for a second. I
continuously practiced for 6-7 at stretches. Till 7 days I didn’t change my
football kits and shoes thinking that this is waste of time. I was so busy with
football that many of my friends, even family members, thought I have become
mad. But it didn’t stopped me from working hard and continued playing with my
ball as much as I could.
Then the day
came which made me to cut off my real life. It was match day. I was curious and
excited for the match. At last after a long wait opponent team arrived with
Sami Baloch. And then the match started. In the very first minutes I succeeded
in marking up my name goal scorers list. I was working very hard and playing so
much good to impress a Sami Baloch. After a half time when match continued,
just after few minutes my team mate Sana Ullah scored a goal. For once I thought I’ve lost the opportunity
of changing my dream into reality. But in the last minutes of game fortunately
I again got the ball and was running quickly towards the opponent’s goal post.
Sana Ullah was also running with me. When I reached opponents goal past there
were only two men, a goal keeper and Sana Ullah. I easily dodged the goal
keeper. Now there were only empty nets, Sana Ullah and me. If I scored, I would
have been selected in DFA’s team. But I just passed the ball to him. He looked
unbelievingly towards me and just tapped the ball to goal post.
He got
selection in DFA’s team. That was the last match I played. After match he asked
me why I did so. I answered you’re better than me. You’ve really worked than
me. You can become good football player as compared to me. You really deserved
it more than me or other player of our team. Many players said to me Ibrahim
you deserved it more, you really worked hard than him. I replied,” May be I
deserved it but yeah I really worked very hard. Passing ball to him was very
tough and hard. It was like one killing one’s own life but I did it and I’m
proud of it.”
[Now Sana Ullah is
the main and best striker of Baloch Football Club Noshki playing in Pakistan
Premier League.]
Last evening you had flu and fever. You were weak and nervous because of that bad condition. Took dose of wrong medicine. What happened next? How did you get to your normal condition? What effects this medicine had on you?
Last evening all my family members had gone to my cousin’s
marriage. But I couldn’t go because I had bad flu and fever. I was feeling very
sick. I was coughing constantly. My body was continuously shivering due to
illness. I was so weak and nervous that I couldn’t even speak.
I was very crest
fallen and depressed. I was just unmindful and oblivious. I scrambled off to
medicine room to take some medicine. Just after taking dose of medicine I was
shocked because I had taken wrong dose of medicine. At the same, the medicine
started its side effects. My consciousness increased. My head started to ache
just like someone battering it with iron axe. Everything in front of my eyes
blurred. Before I was only coughing now it started vomiting. I was very
confused and overwhelmed when saw I’m vomiting blood. I knew I’m doomed. What
happened to me after that I don’t know because my eyes had blacked out.
When I opened my
eyes, I was in hospital. Many pipes were attached to my body. Doctor was
telling my father that it all happened of taking wrong medicine. But now your
child is out of danger you can take him to home.
I thanked God that
I’m alive. I felt very sorry on my mistake because it could be a life taking.
After taking medicines for a month I came back to my original and healthy state.
That medicine has still some effects on my health. I often feel sleepy and
unconscious due to it.
